The First Turk Awarded with IEEE ‘Upsilon Pi Epsilon’ is from Ozyegin University

IEEE Computer Society(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), among the leading international professional organizations of engineering and computer sciences with more than 426,000 members in 150 countries announced the results of its most prestigious global student award ‘Upsilon Pi Epsilon’ for this year. Ozyegin University Computer Engineering Masters with Thesis student Hüseyin Yapıcı has been awarded with ‘Upsilon Pi Epsilon’ for his contribution to the community on local and global scale in the fields of computer sciences and engineering. Hüseyin Yapıcı became the first Turkish person to win this award which has been offered since 1999. We would like to congratulate him and wish further success in his efforts.
