The first Chill@OzU event was held at Özyeğin University under the leadership of the Student Union. The event featured the Belgian music band "Oscar and the Wolf" as the headliner, and played host to more than 9,000 people.

2018Özyeğin University ranked first for overall satisfaction in the 2017 Türkiye’s University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA) for the second time. Özyeğin University Rector Prof. Esra Gençtürk was honored with the “Golden Award” in recognition of her outstanding performance.
