Project Led by Assistant Prof. Erinç Albey Receives Funding Under ISTKA 2025 Financial Support Programs

The project proposal titled “Özyeğin University Twin Transformation Project”, led by Assistant Prof. Erinç Albey from the Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering Department at Özyeğin University, has been awarded funding under the 2025 Financial Support Programs of the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA).

The project aims to accelerate the digital and green transformation of Türkiye’s white goods sector, enhance its global competitiveness through sustainable production processes, and ensure the efficient use of environmental resources. By leveraging innovative digital technologies, sustainability-focused practices, and public–private sector collaborations, the project seeks to generate economic, environmental, and social value for the industry. Another primary objective of the initiative is to establish a Green Digital Transformation Center to ensure financial sustainability by facilitating access to national and international grants, incentives, and credit resources. With a total budget of 15,000,000 TL, the project will receive 13,500,000 TL in support from ISTKA.
