Hotel Management and Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Undergraduate Programs of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Have Been Honored with the “Contribution to Tourism Education Award” at the 25th Skålite Awards

The Undergraduate Hotel Management and the Undergraduate Gastronomy and Culinary Arts programs of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Özyeğin University have been honored with the “Contribution to Tourism Education Award” at the 25th Skålite Awards, organized by Skål International Istanbul Club, one of Türkiye’s leading associations in the tourism industry. The award ceremony took place on October 27, 2025, at Raffles Hotel Istanbul.

Founded in 1932 in Paris, Skål International is a non-profit global professional organization that brings together all branches of the travel and tourism industry. Representing industry leaders, Skål International fosters communication and professional exchange among members through local, national, and international meetings. With 12,410 members across 358 local clubs in 85 countries, the organization is dedicated to promoting responsible and sustainable tourism worldwide.

In Türkiye, Skål International is represented by 16 clubs and 765 members from across the tourism sector.
