Özyeğin University Sailing Team Ranks Second in Türkiye at the Uni Sailing Cup 2025

The Özyeğin University Sailing Team won 2nd place nationwide at the Uni Sailing Cup – Keelboat Sailing Championship, with a total of 8 points after 5 rounds of competition. Organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation (TÜSF) under the authorization of the Turkish Sailing Federation (TYF) and in collaboration with the Istanbul Offshore Yacht Racing Sports Club, the championship brought together 15 universities from across Türkiye. The races took place from October 29 to 31, 2025, along the scenic Fenerbahçe coast in Istanbul.

Representing Özyeğin University with great skill and teamwork are Ege Selim Sussa, a sophomore student in Industrial Engineering, Bahar Alkan, a junior student in Management Information Systems, Bilge Nur Yazıcı, a sophomore student in Business Administration, Eros Gümüş, a freshman student in Hotel Management, and Mustafacan Öztuncel, a preparatory student in International Trade and Business.
