Electrical Electronics Engineering
We will keep updating the success stories of our graduates at this page who had their undergraduate degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering department at Özyeğin University.
Mert is working in Eatron Technologies as a software engineer. He graduated in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Özyeğin University as the valedictorian of his class. He had an interest to computer programming and thus, he had a minor degree in Computer Sciences. He got an international management class in University of East Anglia, UK. He also studied as an exchange student in Oregon State University, USA for one semestre. His became a part of an academic research article and he had a chance to present it in a conference.
After graduation he started to study master degree in Computer Sciences in Boğaziçi University to specialize in machine learning. At the same time he’s working as a full-time software engineer. Mert had an experience as a web application developer as front-end and cloud systems. He is planning to be a cofounder of an international software company.
Hakkı received his undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Özyeğin University. He has been a Tubitak researcher during his undergraduate studies, working on projects focusing on computer vision and object detection technologies. He was a member of the winner team in a competition called “Youth is designing the future” which was organized by Arçelik. He is now a PhD student at University of Rochester in Computer Sciences. Hakkı is planning to keep working in problem solving and research areas both in academy and private sector.
She received her undergraduate and Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Özyeğin University. She is now a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Physics at Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz with her research in quantum computing and processors. She has always been curious to explore and understand the universe because just what we saw was not enough. As a result, she found myself becoming a scientist. She has seen theoretical objects which are common in different fields. Also, an important step in her journey was to learn algorithmic thinking which came with an object-oriented programming training.
I have always tried to understand physical correspondences of theoretical objects and wondered about transitions from theoretical formulations to experimental implementations. She had the opportunity to research in the field of underwater optical wireless communications and quantum key distribution. She had a chance to publish articles, join collaborations and patent her works.
Teorik cisimlerin fiziksel haberleşme alanındaki karşılığını anlamak için çalışmalar yürüttü ve teorik formülasyonların, uygulama alanları olup olmadığı konusundaki merakını canlı tuttu. Sualtı kablosuz haberleşme ve kuantum She had the opportunity to research in the field of underwater optical wireless communications and quantum dağıtım alanlarında araştırma yapma imkanı buldu. Çalışmaları sırasında makalelerini yayınlama, işbirlikleri yapma ve çalışmalarına patent alma fırsatı yakaladı.
