Deniz Kutluay acquired his doctorate from Dokuz Eylül University in 2020. His Ph.D. study is related to introducing a numerical solution to electromagnetic scattering problems using two-hybrid numerical techniques combined with the method of moments. He received his master's degree from Ege University in 2012 with his studies on the examination of the magneto-optical properties of magnetic nanoparticles. He received his bachelor's degree from Pamukkale University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2007.
He worked as a Research Assistant at Izmir University, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering between 2009 -2016. While he worked as a project leader in the R&D department of several companies to gain private sector experience, he contributed greatly to the completion of TEYDEB projects named "Unmanned Marine Vehicle for Geophysical-Based Search Missions" and "Keyless Entry and Engine Start System Design for Heavy and Light Commercial Vehicles". He taught MATLAB Programming at Celal Bayar University, Department of Mechanical Engineering for one semester. He has been working in the Automotive Innovative Technologies Group at Vestel Elektronik for three years and takes part as a project manager in national and international projects. He has 8 articles and conference papers, 4 of which are within the scope of SCI Expanded, 1 academic book publication covering the subjects compiled from his thesis studies, and 1 patent granted by the European Patent Office.
